Member of Telangana State Legislative Council Mr. K R Amos raised the issue of protection of Begumpet Airport land and demanded that the Telangana government take measures to take over the vast and valuable land.
It must be recalled that a report was published in Siasat on March 16 and attention was called towards protection of Begumpet airport. Siasat daily mentioned the threats faced by the land.
Mr. K R Armos raised the issue in the state legislative council and informed the house about the problem. He asked the state government to immediately come into action and take over the land from the centre. He claimed that the estimated value of the land is 30000 crore.
