Despite heavy rain, MBT corporator Amjadullah Khan Khalid visited various municipal divisions of Malakpet assembly constituency including Azampura and reviewed the problems faced by the residents. He inspected various low lying areas, which were presenting the view of pond. He directed municipal officials to ensure smooth flow of rain water.
The local residents drenched in rain walked along with Amjadullah Khan Khalid showing him drainage water flowing on roads. They told that due to stinking drainage water flowing over the roads the residents are suffering from various diseases. They told that there is no one to look after the condition of Malakpet area.
Amjadullah Khalid warned the water and electricity officials that if they show slackness, they will have to pay for it, since the foremost aim of Majlis Bachao Tahreek is to resolve public issues.
