Mumbai, August 19: Amitabh Bachchan as we all know is a Thalassemia Minor, a recessive disorder, had a heart-wrenching experience recently during his Gujarat tour. He met a girl suffering from Thalassemia Major as both her parents must be carriers.
About which he blogged, “It is so distressing to see little kids suffer. It breaks one’s heart, but when you find yourself in their presence, you put up a brave face and tell them that all will be well soon. This little one loved Bhootnath’ and Baghbaan’ and a smile filled up her face when she talked of these films.”
Superstar was shooting for a promotional film for tourism in Gujarat under a neem tree and was moved to see so many neem trees around in the Ashram. He recalled his young days when he was asked to eat fresh neem leaves and so went on to write about the benefits of neem in his blog.
