(Siasat News)Amitabh Bachchan is invited to carry Olympic torch in London a day before the opening ceremony of the Games.
He said “it will be a proud moment for me and my country”
“OK!! HERE IT IS: Have been invited by London Olympic Organizing Committee to carry the torch in the relay tomorrow ” Bachchan tweeted.
69-year-old actor will be a part of the team, which will carry torch at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Another Indian A.R. Rahman is asked to compose music for the inaugural day, A.R Rahman teamed up the director of Slumdog Millionaire Danny Boyle to compose a track.
A.R. Rahman said, “It’s a track in Punjabi celebrating the Indian influence in the UK.”
