Hyderabad: BJP National President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched the party’s membership drive in Telangana State. Amit gave the membership to one Soni Nayak Bai, a native of Ranganayakula Thanda in Mamidipalli village of Ranga Reddy district on the outskirts of the city.
Shah reached to the house of Soni bai amid tight security and gave membership card to Soni Bai. The police made tight security arrangements during the visit of the shah to pahadi sharif. Earlier, the former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh State Nadendla Bhaskar Rao joined the BJP in the Presence of shah at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The other senior leaders of the party like Peddi Reddy former IAS officer RV Chandravadan joined the BJP.
He was accompanied by Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy, BJP’s Telangana unit chief K. Laxman, national General Secretary P. Muralidhar Rao, and other leaders.
