Mr. Amir Ali Khan, News Editor, Siasat and renowned lawyer Ms. Pushpender Kaur met former police constable Mr. Abdul Quadeer who is undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad. He told that efforts have been accelerated for the release of Abdul Quadeer. Mr. Amir Ali Khan took Ms. Pushpender Kaur to hospital and arranged a meeting with Abdul Quadeer. He told Abdul Quadeer that efforts are being made for his release. He consoled him by saying that he should pay more attention to his health.
The petition for the release of Abdul Quadeer has been admitted in High Court for hearing which is a step forward. Ms. Pushpender Kaur also enquired the details of his case from Abdul Quadeer. Mr. Abdul Qavi Abbasi Advocate was also present on this occasion. Mr. Amir Ali Khan met the superintendent of Gandhi Hospital Dr. Mahboob and requested him to take care of Abdul Quadeer’s health.
Dr. Mahboob told Mr. Amir Ali Khan that Abdul Quadeer needs lifelong medical care. He categorically told that in this condition, he can’t allow the jail officials to shift Abdul Quadeer to Cherlapally jail. He said that Abdul Quadeer is suffering from diabetes, lack of blood and kidney disorder. Septic effect has reached the upper portion of his legs. It is advisable to treat his leg without operating it. Due to diabetes his wound won’t be healed soon. He assured Mr. Amir Ali Khan that better medical care is being given to him in the hospital.
Mr. Amir Ali Khan told that he is following the tradition of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) on humanitarian grounds to help Abdul Quadeer. The purpose of his visit was to arrange a meeting of Ms. Pushpender Kaur with Abdul Quadeer. He hoped that Abdul Quadeer will be released soon.
Mr. Pushpender Kaur told that she is pleading his case on humanitarian ground because Mr. Amir Ali Khan’s personality and his concern for helping the destitute has impressed her. She said that she salutes the passion of Mr. Amer Ali Khan for helping the poor & the needy.
She informed that a petition has been filed in High Court in the first week of June for the release of Abdul Quadeer which has been admitted for hearing. The honourable judge has directed the public prosecutor to file the counter affidavit within four weeks.
