Telangana State Bharatiya Janata Party here on Sunday made it clear that there will be amicable seat adjustments between the TDP and BJP with a goal of sweeping GHMC elections and share the posts of Mayor and deputy Mayor.
Speaking to mediapersons here, BJPLP leader Dr K Lakshman said they have collected information that the citizens in Greater Hyderabad were favoring the BJP-TDP combine rule in the city. They would plunge into the electioneering with the manifesto agreeable to both the parties, he said.
Stating that the two-party combine was ready to face the conspiracies of the ruling party, Dr Lakshman said several Union ministers along with AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would participate in the election campaigning. He said they have finalized a plan to hold four public meetings in a day for a week from January 17 to 25 and one Union minister will address the meetings every day. The BJP leader said they would organize road shows in all the 150 divisions of the Corporation on January 28, 29 and 30 in which Chandrababu Naidu and Union ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatraya would participate in the campaigning.
The BJPLP leader also said his party would organize a huge public meeting in Hyderabad on January 12. (NSS)
