Americans don’t trust scientists, science journalists

A new poll has revealed that Americans have very little faith in scientists and science journalists.

The poll, which was conducted by HuffPost/YouGov among 1,000 U.S. adults, found that only 36 percent of Americans believed that information they get from scientists is accurate and reliable, the Huffington Post reported.

According to the poll, 51 percent said they trust that information only a little, while 6 percent of the people said that they don’t trust it at all.

Republicans in the poll were most likely to say that they have only a little bit of trust in scientists to give accurate and reliable information. (ANI)
