Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) encouraged his community to use Hijama therapy as cure for their diseases. This is mentioned in nearly 28 Ahadeeth. Dr. Shaheda Moin Ansari told this. She was addressing the free Hijama Camp for women conducted by Siasat Daily at Abid Ali Khan Eye Hospital. Continuing her speech she revealed that the therapy was adopted by western countries in the 20th century. She informed that 60 percent of Medical Institutions in America are focussing on the training of Hijama as an alternative therapy.
Dr. Ather Moin Rasheda expressed happiness over medical services of Siasat especially the conduct of free Hijama Camp and paid tributes to Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, Managing Editor Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan and news editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan and extended best wishes to continue such welfare, social, educational, medical and other activities in the future.
