Mr. K. Murali Mohan assumed charge as Minister for Medical Education. He promised that Ambulance Services of 104 and 108 will be improved. He signed the files pertaining to release of salaries of the employees of Ambulance service. While talking to newsmen, he said that the state needs 1000 ambulance vehicles whereas it has only 650 vehicles. He also said that there are complaints about Arogya Shree schemes.
Medical and Health facilities in Govt. hospitals will be made better. He termed the hunger strike of Junior doctors inappropriate and appealed them to withdraw it. If the striking junior doctors want to talk to the Govt. they can do so after calling off the strike.
He told that he has high regard for Health Minister Dr. D.L. Ravinder Reddy. He thanked Congress High command and CM for inducting into the cabinet.
