Amboji’s charred body found after he married upper caste girl in Nalgonda District

Nalgonda: Charred body of Amboji Naresh 23 year old who went missing on 15 May after marrying an upper caste girl was found in a field owned by his father in law.

Police found Amboji’s charred body this morning in a field owned by deceased father-in-law T Srinivas Reddy.
Police have arrested Srinivas Reddy for allegedly kidnapping Amboji killing him and burning his body. Srinivas’s brother and his nephew have also been arrested.

Amboji’s father Venkatiah lodged a missing complaint with the Police on 15 May. Police have been searching for Amboji since then.

Amboji Naresh fell in love with the Swati who belonged to Reddy’s community, while studying at a college at Valigonda in Nalgonda district. Fearing her father would not give approval for their marriage, as Amboji belonged to BC caste, the couple eloped to Mumbai and got married there on March 25.

Since then the married couple has been living in Mumbai’s slum Vikroli until Swati’s Father assured them of his acceptance of their marriage. The newly wed couple accepted Srinivas’s invitation and came back to their village on 11 May.

Amboji who was supposed to meet his grandparents in the neighbouring village in Pallerla village went missing the following day his wife Swati committed suicide in the bathroom of her parents in Lingarajapalli village as reported in The Indian express.
