YCP spokesman Ambati Rambabu today criticized that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is indulging in land scam in the name of capital city construction. Talking to media persons after YCP Chief Jagan Reddy winding up his three-day Jaladeeksha against Telangana projects in Kurnool, Rambabu accused Naidu of miserably failing to get special tag from the Centre despite being an ally of the BJP. Though Naidu met with Prime Minister he failed to get a word from Narendra Modi on special status he fumed. The YCP protest for special tag will continue he said. Rambabu also found fault with TD Government for offering Rs 3500 per sq ft for the construction of a temporary Secretariat Velagapudi in Guntur district.
YCP leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy who was present also took exception to Naidu for failing to protect the state interest when Telangana constructing projects to deprive AP of waters. It is unfortunate that Chandrababu became chief minister of our state, he charged. The TD government is taking steps against democracy and encouraging defections is unethical. (NSS)
