Alwar killing: As Mohammed Ummar is buried, his son is born

Bharatpur: Life has shown both death and birth to the Ummar’s family on same day.
Ummar’s wife Khursheeda, 35 went into labour on the day Ummar’s body was wheeled in for post-mortem.
On late Wednesday evening, Khursheeda gave birth to the ninth child, the 4th son of late Ummar community health centre (CHC).
The fine and healthy newly born child and the dead father reached home the same day.
Because of objections from Khan’s family members, the autopsy was delayed till Wednesday and was done finally on Thursday.

The imam who began his sermon at Ummar’s funeral named the newborn as Ibran Khan.
As the baby slept in the shack, the 45-year-old Ummar was buried at the Supurd-E-Khak (Burial) at Ghatmika village.
Dairy farmer Mohammad Ummar Khan was shot dead and beheaded by gau rakshaks in Alwar, on November 11. Khan’s dismembered body was found on the railway tracks near Govindgarh later in the day.
Bhagwan Singh Gurjar alias Kala and Ramveer Gurjar were arrested for killing Ummar Khan and were being interrogated. The hunt is on for the other accused.

In April this year, 55-year-old Pehlu Khan was lynched by suspected cow vigilantes in Alwar while he was transporting cattle, triggering a nationwide outrage.
The Muslim-dominated Mewat region is known for rearing cows and now “self-proclaimed cow sympathisers” of various right wing outfits are targeting those who rear cows.
