Alliance between TDP and MIM is impossible: Srinivas Yadav

There is no question of any political alliance between TDP and MIM. TDP has a strong hold in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. In such a case, compromise with a city based local political party like MIM is highly impossible.

Mr. T. Srinivasa Yadav, President of Greater Hyderabad TDP told this in a press conference held here yesterday. He pointed out that in connection with A.P. Legislative Council elections from Assembly constituency TDP president, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu had sent letters to all the political parties of the State including MIM for seeking their support but MIM didn’t support to this appeal.

Now that MIM needs the support of TDP for local bodies elections, it is seeking our help for getting its candidates elected from local bodies constituency. He told that the Minority leaders of TDP are angry at these rumours.

According to Mr. Yadav, no progress has been made in connection with the alliance. Mr. Yadav told that as the President of City TDP, he himself is against such alliance. He further told that TDP leaders are resolving the problems of the people by interacting with them.

TDP Supremo, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu has not said anything about such an alliance so far. The news spread by the media has made public panicky about it.

Mr. Yadav reiterated that TDP is a secular party and it has taken stern steps for maintaining peace and secularism. He claimed that any political alliance between TDP and MIM is highly impossible. There is no scope for it. He further told that TDP will be the strongest opponent of MIM in the Parliamentary constituency of Hyderabad.

Present in the press conference were Mr. N. Srinivas, Mr. Anand Kumar Goud, Mr, Shahbaaz Ahmed Khan, Mr. P.L. Srinivas, Mr. Abid Bin Sayeed, Mr. G. S. Bagga & Mr. Yadagiri Goud.
