Hyderabad: After Pulwama terror attack which took lives of around 40 CRPF personnel, at some places in the country, incidents of alleged violence and harassment against Kashmiris were reported.

Expressing views on the alleged ‘xenophobic’ attack, MIM Chief, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted, “Every Kashmiri has a right to live free from fear, to reside in any part of India. These xenophobic attacks against Kashmiris are deplorable & must be condemned. We cannot let our rule of law be replaced by a rule of mobs”.

Whereas, Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai tweeted, “Want to tell any Kashmiri student out there, if you are being targeted in any manner, feel free to call/DM me. My home and heart is open to you as are that of thousands of right thinking Indians.Let’s fight forces of violence together: you don’t have to bear the cross of terror”.

On the other hand, Jammu and Kashmir is under curfew which was imposed after the terror attack, NDTV reported.
On Thursday, in the deadliest terror attack on security forces in Kashmir, around 40 CRPF personnel were killed. Their convoy which was targeted in Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway comprised 78 buses in which around 2500 personnel were traveling from Jammu to Srinagar.
