Alleged accused of Indian Mujahideen produced in court

Four suspects in twin bomb blasts of August 2007 were produced in the Nampally Criminal Court before II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge. Police charge sheeted them. Maharashtra Police had brought Akbar Ismail Choudhary alias Sayeed, Mohammed Sadiq Asrar Ahmed Shaik, Aneeq Shafeeq Syed and Farooque Sharfuddin under tight security. The investigating agency framed charges. The judge permitted them to record their statements. Shafeeq Sayed told that in 2009 Octopus had shifted him to Hyderabad and during police custody they took out his photograph. The investigating agency also obtained his signatures on blank papers. The Judge instructed the accused to record their statements in writing. All the accused submitted the written statements. The judge adjourned the case till 28th October.
