A 38-year-old man committed suicide after a woman in his neighbourhood accused him of having illicit relationship with her.
The incident happened in Shahbad police limits of Ranga Reddy district on October 19. According to police, B Narasimhulu borrowed and sold away a silver chain belonging to her neighbour Amrutha about 15 days ago. On learning about it, Amrutha threatened Narsimhulu of stern action if he does not return either money or her silver chain.
However, Narsimhulu failed to return the money. Consquently, Amrutha visited his house on October 19 and told Narshimulu’s wife Yadamma and other neighbours that he was having illicit relationship with her. Felt insulted, he consumed some unknown poison. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Tuesday morning.
