Telangana assembly erupted into laughter over the remark made by TDP floor leader Dayakar Rao when the newly elected speaker Madhusudan Chari was being congratulated. Dayakar Rao said when the ruling party announced the name of Madhusudan Chari for the post of speaker many TDP members felt that ‘this is our man only’. On this remark of Dayakar Rao, TRS members erupted into laughter.
Dayakar Rao added they were not wrong. The fact is most of the leaders belonging to TRS are our men; they are the product of Telugu Desam University only. He clarified that NTR had provided a chance to youth to participate in politics; at that time many leaders began their political career; this is the reason that leaders of Telangana got power today. Hence TRS leaders are also the product of Telugu Desam.
TDP members welcomed Dayakar Rao’s remark while TRS members just responded with a smile.
