Hyderabad, April 13: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is all set to hold its 10th anniversary celebrations – TRS Dashabdhi Usatavalu – from April 14 to 27 all over Telangana region. The celebrations would conclude with a massive public meeting at the Parade grounds here on April 27.
As part of the celebrations TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to perform ‘Shata Chandi Yagam’ for three days from April 14 at a farm house near Gandipet owned by Mahaboobnagar former MP and TRS leader AP Jitendar Reddy.
The TRS president performed a similar Yagam before 2009 elections.
Vastu expert Vavilala Damodar Sharma would lead the programme. Nearly 60 Vedic scholars would take part in the three-day ritual. Arrangements were in full swing at the 20-acre farm house. Temporary Yagashala has been built at the farm house. The yagam would be performed in five homagundams. All the arrangements would be in place by tomorrow evening. The main programme would begin at 8.15 a.m. on April 14.
During the three days, Chandi parayanam would be recited 100 times at the yagashala. On the final day, there would be Purnahuthi.
As part of the Shata Chandi yagam, Nakshatra japam, Navagraha japam, Kubera japam, Maha Pashupatastra Abhishekam would also be performed.
