The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of MLC election to be held on Sunday for Graduates Constituency of Mahaboobnagar, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad.
A total of 31 candidates are in the fray. As many as 286,311 voters will exercise their franchise at 413 polling stations in three districts. They include 97 polling stations in Mahabubnagar with 66,100 voters, 165 polling stations in Ranga Reddy with 133,003 voters and 151 polling stations in Hyderabad with 87,208 voters.
At the 151 polling stations in Hyderabad District about 894 polling personal were drafted which includes 182 Presiding Officers, 182 Asst. Presiding Officers and 364 other polling officers including 20% excess and also 166 Micro Observers including 10% excess.
Further the GHMC is providing Strong room at Victory Playground at Chadherghat and making arrangements for counting with 28 tables are being made.
Polling for Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal constituency will also be held on Sunday.
