All set for divine wedding in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam, April 12: The stage has been set for the divine wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita in the temple town on Tuesday.

Pushkara Pattabhishekam to be held once in 12 years, will be performed on April 13.

Over 1.5 lakh devotees are likely to witness the celestial fete. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and governor ESL Narasimhan will visit Bhadrachalam to witness Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam and Pushkara Pattabhishekam.

Wide screens have been set up at Kalyana Mandapam to enable more number of devotees to witness the celestial wedding.

Foolproof security arrangements have been made to thwart any untoward incident during the festival.

In all, 3,150 police personnel have been deployed in the temple town for the security of VVIPs and pilgrims visiting the temple town.

About 40,000 pilgrims have already reached the temple town so far. Bhadrachalam has been spruced up for the occasion.

The temple has been brightly illuminated. The temple town has already got a festive look.
