All party meeting to discuss city issues today

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will chair an all-party meeting on Tuesday to discuss various issues related to the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

The decision to convene the meeting on Tuesday was taken on December 3 after the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the senior officials on the encroachment in Hyderabad. Earlier, the Chief Minister had also assured the State Assembly that he would convene an all-party meeting to discuss the issue of alignment of Metro Rail project. However, a few more important points have been added in the agenda and during Tuesday’s meeting issues including Metro Rail alignment, housing, cleaning of Hussainsagar and sky scrapper zone around the lake and construction of Vinayaka Sagar are likely to be discussed.

The elected representatives of Hyderabad and representatives of all political parties have been invited for the all-party meeting. (INN)
