All parties must exert pressure on centre for T-state: Kodandaram

Hyderabad, January 1: The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee convener, Prof. Kodandaram, on Friday requested all political parties to exert pressure on the Centre for carving out Telangana State at the proposed all-party meeting scheduled to be held in New Delhi on January 6.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Prof. Kodandaram warned that those parties which failed to mount pressure on the Union government would not be allowed to move in the Telangana region. He also suggested to the people in the region to display candle lights from Friday to January 5. He pointed out that the stand of the Union government regarding Telangana issue would be revealed on January 6.

Meanwhile, the former TRS MP, Mr Vinod Kumar, said that there was no “iota of truth” in the rumours that the TRS party would join hands with the former Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mr Vinod Kumar also maintained that the only goal before them was achievement of Telangana State.
