Hyderabad, January 30: Poti Sriramulu Telugu University and MVKR International Telugu Centre will organise a three-day long sixth all-India Telugu conference jointly in coordination with Andhra Bhashabhivardhani Samajam from February 4 to 6 at the City High School in Berhampur in Orissa.
Speaking to newsmen here today, Prof. Anumandla Bhumaiah , vice-chancellor of Potti Sriramulu Telugu University said the conference would be inaugurated by Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik. AP chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Union minister S Jaipal Reddy, ministers Vatti Vasanth Kumar, D K Aruna and a few ministers from Orissa would attend.
“The conference is aimed at promoting Telugu language, tradition and culture.
As many as 45 papers on various issues will be presented by the participants. A few celebrities from Telugu film fraternity, poets, writers and others will also attend the conference,” Prof Bhumaiah said.
