The Karwan-e-Urdu Virasat which aims at promotion and development of Urdu will reach Hyderabad on April 4. 2-day programme is being conducted in Hyderabad in collaboration with Siasat daily. The state government has decided to extend complete support in the programmes of Karwan-e-Urdu Virasat.
Prof. S A Shukoor director/ secretary Urdu Academy is the coordinator appointed by the government. He told that eminent Urdu speaking personalities of the country, including Convenor Asif Aazmi, Press Council of India chairman Justice Markandey Katju and others will reach Hyderabad on April 4. All India Mushaira will be held on April 5, at Telugu Lalit Kala Thoranum, Public Garden.
Eminent poets Munawar Rana, Nida Fazili, Rahat Indori, Manzar Bhopali, Qasim Imam, Asif Burhanpuri, Rajesh Reddy, Aleem Nomani, Vijay Tiwari besides local poets will enthrall audience with their selective poetry.
A conference will be held on April 6, 10:30 am, at Jubilee Hall Public Garden. Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will inaugurate the conference. Dignitaries including, former vice chancellor Aligarh University, Prof. M Rahman vice chancellor KMC university Lucknow, Prof. Anees Ansari, Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat, Prof. Akhtarul Wasay vice chairman Urdu Academy Delhi, Khaja Akramuddin director NCPUL, Dr. Zaheer I Qazi president Anjuman-e-Islam, Mumbai will attend the programme. Karwan-e-Urdu Virasat has earlier visited other parts of the country.
