Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India has organized All India Hajj Conference in New Delhi today. All the chairman and CEOs of Hajj Committees of various states will attend this meeting. General V.K. Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs will inaugurate this conference. Prof. S.A. Shukoor will represent Telangana and A.P. State. Arrangements for the Hajj season of 2015 and the schedule of flights of Hajj pilgrims will be discussed. The second installment to be paid by the hajj pilgrims will be determined. Officials of Central Hajj Committee will present the report of the arrangement to be made for Hajj pilgrims of India. Hajj pilgrims are worried about their flight arrangements through Air India instead of Saudi Airlines. Prof. Shukoor will stressed the need to restore the previous arrangements of sending Hajj pilgrims through Saudi Airlines. It may be noted that 584 Hajj pilgrims belonging to Telangana have been selected for their state in Nizam Rubath of Makkah which will save Rs. 44000 per head. It is expected that center Hajj committee will issue resident permit next month. Telangana Hajj Committee will make arrangements for the Hajj pilgrims of A.P. State also this year.
