All India Chess Tourney for Visually Challenged

Devnar Foundation for the Blind, in association with Amway Opportunity Foundation is conducting 37th All India Chess Tournaments for the visually challenged from June 1 to 5 at Devnar School for the Blind, Mayuri marg, Begumpet, Hyderabad (Ph: 040 – 66175696, 27767931). The Chess is the best indoor game for the visually challenged.
Some 140 players from 14 States will be participating in these tournaments. The final match will be played on June 5 from 10 am to 1 pm and prizes will be distributed at 2 pm. The top three players will be given a cash prize along with Trophy, the top 25 players will be given cash prize with certificates. The rest of the players will be given participation certificates.
The tournaments are sponsored by Amway Opportunity Foundation. The tournament will be inaugurated on June 1 at 10 am at Devnar School for the Blind, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
