All Hindu Women Should Produce At least 4 Children: Sakshi Maharaj

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Sakshi Maharaj has triggered yet another controversy by saying all Hindu women must produce at least five children in order to protect the future of Hinduism.

He made the comment while addressing a gathering of saints at the second Sant Samagam Mahotsava in Meerut on Tuesday evening.

“Time has come for Hindu women to produce at least four children in order to protect the Hindu religion,” he said.

Maharaj went to on to say that of the four children, one must be put in the company of saintly men, another one should join the armed forces to protect the country, while the rest two should take care of the family.

During his speech, the BJP MP also touched upon the controversy surrounding ‘ghar wapsi’. While stressing that a special law be enacted to stop religious conversions, he said he supported reconversion.

Maharaj also said that those who indulge in cow slaughter will be awarded capital punishment after the bill for the same is passed in the Parliament.
