All Haj pilgrims from Telangana, AP return home

All the Haj pilgrims who underwent holy journey to Makkah and Madeena have returned after performing Haj 2014.

Last two flights of pilgrims carrying altogether 598 pilgrims landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport tonight. They were received by Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor. He informed that a total of 6043 pilgrims belonging to Telangana (3920), Andhra Pradesh (1376) and Karnataka (739) went on pilgrimage from Hyderabad. He said that Zam zam water cans of five litres each were distributed at the pilgrims at the Haj Terminal itself. Two pilgrims died in Makkah after the Haj was over, while another hailing from Anantapur died in Madeenah. As many as 82 Pilgrims boarded from Mumbai Airport will return to Mumbai. The Telangana State Haj Committee had made arrangements for their journey from Mumbai to Hyderabad through Special RTC buses.

He thanked all the departments, organisations and individual who extended their warm cooperation in successful conduct of Hyderabad Embarkation point and hoped that they will extend cooperation in the coming years as usual.
