President of Telangana Congress Committee Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy told that all communities will be given representation right from Village level to State level to strengthen Congress Party so that it could struggle against anti-people policies of the Government.
Mr. Reddy met Ms. Sonia Gandhi and thanked her for nominated him as the president of TPCC. He presented a report on the political situation of Telangana State. Talking to newsmen after the meeting, he told that he will act upon the advice and suggestions given by Ms. Gandhi. He will give representation to all the communities and religions in all the committees. He also told that the senior Congressmen are the assets of the party and he would always respect them. He would take their suggestions and act upon them. He would persuade youngsters to join Congress. He would also activates youth Congress, Mahila Congress, NSUI, Minorities Cell, SC, ST and BC cells. He told that Congress was defeated in the State because of anti-incumbency factor. He thanked Ms. Sonia Gandhi that she formed separate Telangana State. Now Congress will function as a constructive opposition. It will exert its pressure in the Assembly and outside for the implementation of the promises made by TRS in its election manifesto.
