Alka Lamba files complaint against BJP MLA O.P Sharma to DCW

New Delhi, Aug.10 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Alka Lamba on Monday filed a complaint against BJP MLA OP Sharma to Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal, alleging that the latter used foul language against her.

“I have given a written complaint to Delhi Commission for Women ( DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal that how O.P Sharma today came and used foul language for me. In that complaint, I have asked for action to be taken against him as he had already warned me in a press conference that I would go back on stretcher if I returned on the anti-drug campaign,” Lamba told ANI.

“I have asked Swati ji to see that whatever happened yesterday should not happen in the future so that we can continue with this campaign,” she added.

Sharma had earlier descibed the AAP legislator a ‘drug addict’, as he questioned her ‘motive’ behind embarking on an anti-drugs drive leading to an attack on her.

He also threatened retaliation by ‘lathi-wielding’ BJP workers in the future in case of such incidents. (ANI)
