New Delhi: If you were wondering why Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan were posting cryptic tweets, then the news is that the hit duo is reuniting for a sequel of their 2014 flick ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.’
The official Twitter handle of Dharma productions recently posted a newspaper clipping and captioned it, “So #BadrinathKiDulhania Your own #Varia North Indian Accent, Shoot begins today! Stay tuned for 4PM!!”
Shashank Khaitan is all set to make India’s first ever love franchise with ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ that will star the 29-year-old actor along with the ‘Highway’ star and the duo will start shooting for the flick on May 3.
It is being said that it is a fresh story set against a rural backdrop up North.
Earlier, the ‘Badlapur’ star took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “I hear the 1st ever love franchise is in the air! @dharmamovies @karanjohar @aliaa08 is that for real??”
Relying to the same Alia wrote, “The “dulhania” is on the move!! Is this true though?? @dharmamovies @karanjohar @varun_dvn.” (ANI)
