Kolkatta: The video of gymnastic exercises of two uniform-clad school students got viral and they reached the height of fame overnight.
The video became so popular that Olympic gold medalist, Nadia Kamineni also applauded their gymnastic exercises.
No one knew these students a few days back but their somersaults in school uniform attracted the attention of thousands of viewers.
Union minister of sports, Mr.Kiran Rajiju expressed his desire to meet them.
Ali and Loly are the students of VII th standard at Sangnamitra Vidyalaya in Kolkatta.
An IAS officer, Mr. N.V. Rao confirmed on twitter that he had talked to these students and their trainer.
It may be mentioned that this video is free from bizarre teasing etc.
When a TV channel representative contacted Ali, he told that he is interested in dancing but he wants to bring laurels for the country.
Loly also told that she wants to represent India in international competitions. Loly’s father, Taj Khan and mother, Reshma are tailors. Her mother told that she belongs to a poor family. Even she can’t afford to buy sport shoes for their daughter.
She requested Union Minister of Sport to provide adequate facilities.
