It was believed that TRS Govt. led by Mr. KCR would be Muslim friendly. After active participation of Muslims in separate Telangana Movement, Muslims had a hoped that justice would be done to them. During Telangana Movement, Mr. KCR repeatedly assured the Muslims that they will be provided jobs and 12% reservation in employment and in educational institutions. Most of his promises could not be fulfilled. A series of organized encounter has been started under a planned conspiracy to deprive the Muslim youths of their lives. Alair encounter is the worst example of it. Muslim organizations and Human Rights activists, Irrespective of religion termed the encounter of Viqar, Zakir, Dr. Haneed, Aijaz Khan and Amjad as fake and a brutal murder. The parents of the victims and the leaders of Muslim organizations demanded CBI probe but Mr. KCR who claims to be sympathizer of the Muslim rejected this demand. He is under the wrong impression that the Muslims of Hyderabad forget such incidents very soon but it so.
It may be noted at 7 years back in Vatoli Village near Bhainse in Adilabad District 6 members of a family including three minor children were set ablaze. At that time Congress Govt. led by Dr. YSR was at its peak. Nobody was dare enough to open his mouth before YSR but after this incident, Congress had to meet shameful defeat in Adilabad. Dr. YSR had ordered for CBI probe and he had issued G.O. No. 211 on 16-10-2008 but CBI did not start investigations so far. The tragedy is the party which claims to represent the Muslims in Assembly and Parliament kept its mouth shut. An activist of Human Rights lamented on the quiet attitude of Muslim politicians and told that these are the peoples who force the Governments to bend against their pressure but when the time came for getting justice for the Muslims, they could not move forward.
After the Makkah Masjid Bomb Blast, 16 Muslims were killed. A commission was setup. It conducted hearings. In the same manner a commission was setup in connection with the incident which took place on 18th May 2007. Its report has not yet been presented. The political parties who claim to lead the Muslims did not exert their pressure on the Govt. The victims of Vatoli village did not get justice yet. It is not known what happened to CBI probe. Our leaders might have forgotten these incidents but these are still fresh in the minds of the people. The pathetic scene of the shattered dead bodies of 55 year old Mahboob khan’s family is still fresh in the memory of the people. On this incident, political parties bargained and got benefits. Even today the Muslims of the State have not forgotten the burnt dead body of Safia Khatoon which was lying on the side of the dead body of her 22 year old daughter, Rizwana Begum. Media reports clearly indicated that by inserting a piece of cloth in the mouth of Rizwana Begum, her mouth was shut forever.
If anybody thinks that the Muslims of the State would forget the atrocities and the unidentifiable burnt dead bodies of 6 year old Arsalan Khan, 3 year old Noman Khan and 2 year old Sabahath Khan, it would be foolishness. The Muslims of the State still remember the cut off leg of Mahboob Khan which was found away from his burnt house. The Muslims of the State have not yet forgotten the fact that the communal elements destroyed the house of Anwar Khan, a soldier of Indian Army who was waiting at the borders to face the bullets of the enemies. He got the honour of sacrificing his life for the protection of the citizens of this country.
The silence of the vested interests indicates that the so-called sympathizers of Muslim community will throw the demand of CBI probe into the dust bins of their offices as they had done with the Muslim issues earlier. Justice loving leaders of Muslims community, Members of Civil Liberties, Telangana Forum for Justice and other organizations turned the killings of the under trial prisoners a brutal murder and an organized conspiracy to fulfill their political interests. All are agreeable that it is a brutal murder and the murderers should be punished, otherwise police will not hesitate to shoot a Muslim youth and term it as an encounter. Suspicion is being expressed on the silence of the leadership of the country and abroad.
Mr. Abu Asim Azmi, MLA of SP came from Mumbai and offered financial assistance to the descendants of the victims but our leaders have no interest to meet the old parents of the victims and to say a few words of consolation. Those who claim to lead the community have no time to console the orphans of Dr. Haneef who are shedding tears day and nights and they are asking their mother and other relatives that their father used to cure everyone and he used to tell good things to others then why did police kill him? Aren’t policemen human beings? Who kill good and pious people also. These innocent children do not know that all the policemen are not bad. There are some good policemen also in the Department who care more for the human lives than their medals and promotions. Had the cries fallen on the ears of KCR, he would have imagined who tragic it is for the children for losing their father. CM should at least accept the demand of CBI probe taking into consideration humanitarian values. He should come out of the circle of his flattering coterie. This coterie consists of the people who are bent upon elevating KCR to the position of a Mahatma. Indians have read about only one Mahatma who was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. It is learnt that the first terrorist of India, Nathoram Godse had short bullets at Mahatma Gandhi as police is firing bullets at the innocent Muslims right from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana and UP.
Muslims have very good opinion about KCR. He should order CBI probe for Alair fake encounter in order to make his tarnished image among the Muslims.
