A delegation of Congress leaders led by President Telangana Pradesh Congress Minority Department Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin reached Raj Bhawan and called on Governor Narsimhan. Declaring Alair encounter as government sponsored murder, CBI or court enquiry was demanded. The delegation comprised of 10 leaders including Secretaries Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Mr. Syed Yousuf Hashmi, Mr. Mohammed Ismail Husain, Vice Chairman Telangana Pradesh Congress Minority Department Mr. Mir Hadi Ali and President Warangal Congress Minority Department Mr. Mohammed Jamal Shareef.
Later talking to media Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin told that with a deep conspiracy government and police shifted Zakir who was imprisoned in Chanchalguda jail to Warangal Jail and the very next day killed Viqar and his 4 friends in a fake encounter at Alair while shifting to Hyderabad court.
