Reacting severely on Alair encounter in which 5 Muslim youth were killed, Minorities Rights Foundation held a meeting in which CM of Telangana was demanded to order CBI enquiry and to grand Rs. 10 lakh to each family of the victims as ex-gratia, otherwise Muslims would launch a massive protest against the Government.
President of the Foundation, Ms. Ameena Khan, Vice President Mr. Solomon Raj, Advocate told this in a press conference held in the city yesterday. They said that even after the lapse of 20 days, Government of Telangana is not in a position to take action. It has entrusted the case to the so-called SIT for namesake whereas the Muslims of the State are disappointed with this action of the Government. They said that the Muslim youths were killed in a fake encounter through an organized conspiracy. They pointed out that no action is taken against the leaders of RSS and Sangh Parivar even if they spread venom through their hateful speeches and controversial statements. They are given free hand whereas the innocent Muslim youths are harassed by implicating them in fake case. They alleged that Mr. KCR is following the footsteps of BJP Govt. for his political interests. The dream of “Golden Telangana” will not be fulfilled unless Minorities are developed and Law and order is not ensured. They demanded the Government to complete investigations within a month. Present in the press conference were Mr. Mohammed Shameem, General Secretary of Minorities Rights Foundations, Ms. Humaira Fatima, Secretary, and the wife of Dr. Haneef, Ms. Ishrath Banu and her orphan children.
