London, September 09: A leading British think tank has warned that Al Qaeda may carry out another attack on the West using an aircraft.
Director of defence think tank warned that the terror organisation, obsessed with using private airlines to carry out large scale terror attack to bring the West down on its knees, was gearing up for yet another attack.
The warning came after three British men of Pakistani origin were convicted of plotting to blow up flights from London to North America.
According to the think tank of the Royal United Services Institute, the Al Qaeda poses a threat to the West however “marginalised”. There was a potential threat being felt by the West from the tribal areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
