Mumbai, June 18: After endorsing products as varied as cola drinks, vests and jeans — all of which required Akshay Kumar to perform cool stunts in the ads — the actor has decided to endorse a non- banking gold loan company.
He will soon be seen preaching the value of gold to his audience! And this time round Akki says he won’t have to do any action sequences.
“ I won’t be doing any stunt for the commercial.
I am doing this to prevent the negative action in our society where people commit suicide when they don’t have money,” he quips.
Though being among one of the highest taxpayers in Bollywood and endorsing a brand that provides gold loans, Akshay doesn’t like to use gold himself.
“ I don’t like it nor do I like gifting such ornaments to my wife.
I am a very clever husband and whenever I have to gift something to her, it is cash,” he says.
