New Delhi : Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is proud and honoured to be the ambassador of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Foundation.
Promoting the former prime minister’s motto of ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’, the actor took to Twitter on Wednesday and posted a picture with his grandson, Vinamra Shastri, who is also the president of the foundation.
He wrote, “Happy and proud to be the Honorary Ambassador of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Foundation. Keep up the good work, @VinamraShastri. We ought to live by Shastri ji’s ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ motto for our great nation. @LalMemorial.”
The superstar, recently, made it to the top 10 of the annual Forbes’ list of the world’s best-paid male actors. The ‘Rustom’ star ranked number seven on the list with earnings of USD 40.5 million.
On the work front, he is riding high on the success of sports drama ‘Gold’ and will next be seen in ‘2.0’ with Rajinikanth.
