Luchnow, Aug. 15 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday launched the official twitter account of Taj Mahal here.
Uttar Pradesh Tourism’s Secretary Amrit Abhijat claimed that Taj Mahal would be the first historic monument in the world to have a twitter account.
“The Taj Mahal is the first historical monument in the world which has a twitter account of its own,” he said.
Earlier, the Agra circle of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had denied permission to hold an event at the Taj citing security and environment-related concerns. (ANI)
