Hyderabad: Hearing of Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case will begin on 10th February on daily basis. Mohammed bin Omer (Mohammed Pahelwan) was produced before the VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally Criminal Court under tight security. It has been decided to hear the case daily. The statements of two eyewitnesses would be recorded every day.
It may be noted that Supreme Court had clearly passed orders in December last year to finish the hearing of this case within six months. Following these orders, the judge fixed the date of hearing of this case on 10th February.
It may be mentioned that on 30th April 2011 a case was registered for allegedly attacking Akbaruddin Owaisi in Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency. Police implicated Younus bin Omer Yafayi, Hasan bin Omer Yafayi, Mohammed bin Saleh Dahlan, Eisa bin Younus Yafayi, Yahyah bin Yonus Yafayi, Abdullah bin Younus Yafayi, Ewaz bin Younus Yafayi, Afeef Yafayi, Saif, Faisal bin Ahmed, Fazal bin Ahmed, Bahadur Ali Khan alias Munawar Iqbal and had registered a criminal case at Central Crime Station. Police also had submitted Charge sheet against them. A Special Public Prosecutor has been appointed in this case.
