The Supreme Court today dismissed the Special Leave petition filed by Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai aka Mohammed Pahelwan, seeking relief in the cancellation of bail by the A.P.High court.
The Apex court has also cancelled the bails of other five accused allegedly involved in the April 30,2011 MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case.
A double bench of Apex court comprising Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar and Justice B S Chauhan while disposing the petition filed by Mohammed Pahelwan,declined to setaside the order of Andhra Pradesh High Court that cancelled the bails of Mohammed Pahelwan who is the prime accused in the attack case and two other accused Younus Bin Omer Yafai aka Younus Bhai and Bahadur Ali Khan aka Munawar Iqbal.
The Supreme Court while dismissing the SLP (Criminal) 4409/2012,also setaside the AP High Court order in which the other five accused Esa Bin Younus Yafai, Yahiya Bin Younus Yafai, Faisal Bin Ahmed, Fazal Bin Ahmed who are the family members of MOhammed Pahelwan were granted bail.
On April 25, Justice KC Bhanu of AP High Court cancelled the bail of three accused and allowed other accused to stay on bail.
