Akbaruddin Attack Case: Gunman records statement

Hyderabad: Gunman of Akbaruddin Owaisi recorded his statement in the court of VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally Criminal Court. In his statement he would that on 30th April 2011, he was on duty to protect Mr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala. He further told that he has the authorities to open fire on any person who is bent upon taking somebody’s life. He also mentioned that on the day of attack, he was performing his duty with a loaded pistol.

 

The Defence Counsel asked him whether Balala was injured or not. In his reply he told that Balala had caught the hands Abduallah and two other persons. During the attack, the stomach of the MLA was pressed due to which he was feeling uneasy to breath. He also mentioned in his statement that he had not handed over his pistol to the other gunman, even on the second day of attack instead, he had handed over it to chandrayan Gutta police, During the interrogation, he told that the proof of firing could be manipulated easily.

Present in the court were Mohammed Pahelwan and others.
