TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy has said MIM floor leader in the Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi should be arrested and debarred from elections for his communal outburst.
He said disqualifying him was the right punishment for his folly.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, Revanth Reddy questioned why the government had not yet arrested him though there were court directions. He said the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had proved his incompetence once again by not arresting Akbaruddin. He expressed displeasure stating that the Congress and the MIM had turned the city into a slum, by indulging in corruption and irregularities.
Revanth Reddy said when the TDP ruled the State, Hyderabad city was clean and green. He claimed that the city progressed on all aspects. He lamented that the shape of the city had totally changed, as soon as Congress took over. Asserting that development was possible only through the TDP, he expressed confidence that his party would come back to power in 2014.
Revanth Reddy undertook a Padayatra in the Jubilee Hills constituency of Hyderabad, in support of the ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ padayatra of his party chief Chandrababu Naidu.
