MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi reportedly changed his voice when he was examined by forensic experts in the presence of the Nirmal magistrate.
Akbaruddin was taken to Nirmal for voice test. Forensic experts took the sample of his voice to compare it with the voice in his Nirmal hate speech of December 22, 2012. It is learnt that when forensic doctor reportedly asked Akbar if he was changing his voice, he said it was due to his ill-health that his voice had changed. With this, forensic experts are likely to test his voice once again after his health improves.
Meanwhile, the court extended his remand till February 19 as it ended on Tuesday. When the MIM MLAs came to see Akbar in the jail, he reportedly refused to meet them on Monday. Adilabad jail authorities said Khadri Pasha, MLA of Charminar and some others came to meet Akbar on Monday, but he had declined to see them. However, Pasha said Akbar did not meet him as he was unable to walk. He has alleged that there was a conspiracy against Majlis party. He said the government was conspiring to weaken his party and asserted that they would win more seats, with the help of the people. (NSS)
