Hyderabad, May 14: The Commissioner Police Mr. A.K.Khan today suspended a Sub-Inspector of Police working with the Chandrayangutta police station for the dereliction of duty during the attack on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) Mr. Vineet Brijlal told that the Commissioner of Police had earlier ordered an enquiry into the allegation of dereliction of duty by the Sub-Inspector A.Ramulu. During the enquiry it was found that the SI Ramulu has failed to act in time while the attack on MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was in progress on 30th April at Chandrayangutta Barkas. “ The prime facie against the SI is that there a clear lapse on his part during the attack”. DCP South Zone Mr.Brijlal told.
In the meantime the CCS sleuths have arrested another two accused involved in the attack case. The sources told that Abdullah Yafai and Amer a worker of the Omer chicken center were arrested today and produced before the Nampally criminal courts. Abdullah was arrested immediately after he was discharged by the Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet. He was earlier admitted after he suffered two bullet injuries during the attack.
