Director General Anti Corruption Bureau Abdul Khayyum Khan convened a meeting of high officials of Minority Welfare on Saturday and reviewed the progress of 70 minority residential schools to start from June.
Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel, Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation B Shafiullah, Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof S A Shukoor, Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah, Waqf Survey Commissioner Masooma Begum, Managing Director Christian Finance Corporation Victor and District Minority Welfare Officers of all districts Executive Director Minority Finance Corporation attended the meeting.
AK Khan sought report from incharge officials in connection with identification of buildings of the schools. It is said that out of 70 schools, selection of buildings for 60 schools has been completed. Owners of some private buildings did not agree to the rent fixed by the government.
