Hyderabad: During the hearing of Akbaruddin Owaisi Attack Case, Advocate Gurumurthy apprised of the court with many realities. He said that the then Commissioner of Police, Mr. A.K. Khan got the case prepared against Mohammed Pahelwan in the wake of MIM and Congress affinity. He further told that police entered the names of such witnesses who could record their statements in favour of Akbaruddin Owaisi. At the instance of the then Commissioner of Police, entering the FIR was delayed. He further informed that the witness number 11, Ahmed Balala, MIM MLA is running 4TV channel without permission. He is cheating the Govt. of India. The recordings of CD of the attack case tampered and the specific scene was shown. The scene of the attack on Ibrahim Yafai and Avad Yafai was not shown. The attacks of Akbaruddin Owaisi and Ahmed Balala were also deleted.
Mr. Gurumuthy informed the court that MIM operates to fulfil its vested interests. From 2009 to 2014, MIM maintained good relations with Congress and got many benefits whereas in 2014, it joined hands with the ruling TRS party and it is getting many benefits now.
Mr. Gurumurthy also told the court that his clients Mohammed Pahelwan and Munawar Iqbal are not land grabbers since there is no evidence against them whereas the former President of MIM was implicated in land grabbing case by the court.
On 13th April 2011, Akbaruddin Owaisi, under the pretext of identifying Govt. lands, visited Chandrayangutta and levelled false allegations of land grabbing against Mohammed Pahelwan and made an attempt to acquire Govt. lands. He also told that the conspiracy of the attack was hatched by Akbaruddin Owaisi and Ahmed Balala and not by Mohammed Pahelwan since the arrival of Akbaruddin Owaisi at Barkas after attending inauguration programs on 30th April 2011 and to attack the family members of Mohammed Pahelwan is part of this organized conspiracy. He clearly mentioned that most of the witnesses belonged to MIM. He made a reference to a witness and told that he is the custodian of Dargah Hazrat Agha Dawood, Aghapura. The hearing of the case was adjourned by VII Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Judge for today.
