New Delhi: Looks like Ajay Devgn is gearing up to do something he hasn’t done before, which is taking up controversial subjects in his films.
According to the Deccan Chronicles report, the actor might soon be starring in a film set during the turbulent times following the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992.
Apparently, writer Vijayendra Prasad of ‘ Baahubali’ and ‘ Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ fame has offered Ajay the role and he liked it.
Titled ‘Kabir,’ the film, which is set to be directed by Vijayendra himself, will reportedly, be produced by the Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani.
If sources are to be believed, “It is not a pro-government film. Kabir takes a look at the turmoil faced by the country after the demolition of Babri Masjid and one man’s heroic attempt to stand up to the violence that followed.”(ANI)
