Filmmaker Karan Johar has plans to replace his closest buddy Shahrukh Khan with Ajay Devgn. Buzzes say that KJo who recently turned 40 wants to rope in Kajol and Ajay, the real life couple in his next project.
Dharma Productions which is now headed by Karan is well known for pairing Shahrukh and Kajol, and the films have turned out successful no doubt. So why is it Karan wants to take a risk this time?
The duo was last seen in U Me Aur Hum, which was a box office flop. Isn’t it enough for Karan to get a lesson from and better opt for the forever hit jodi. Apparently, Ajay-Kajol’s on screen chemistry doesn’t seem to work as much as it does in case of Shahrukh and Kajol.
Reportedly, the film which might star the couple was actually director Rohit Shetty’s idea and it came into notice when he was signed by Karan Johar for his film. The story will be a quintessential Bollywood film with a lot of masala in it. It seems that Rohit and Ajay’s good terms might let Ajay grab this movie.
